About the Oxford Cyber Security Society

The Oxford Cyber Security Society is Oxford's first society uniting students and professionals to shape the future of digital security in the 21st century. Founded in 2025 by Seema Athmeeya, the society has been established to bring students and professionals together in the face of an ever-evolving threat landscape. Alongside co-founders Cameron Brogan-Higgins, Hetal Shah, and Elena Bozova, the society has set out to build an inclusive space for cyber security enthusiasts, where members can engage in hands-on learning and meaningful discussion on security, technology, and ethics alongside senior and industry professionals.

As a newly established society, we welcome everyone to join us, whether you're a student or a professional, and no matter your experience or background. Our mission is simple: to build a strong, supportive community and give our members a real platform to learn, connect, and grow in the world of cyber security.
